R.I.P. Henry Alfred Kissinger & Shane MacGowan

The 56th Secretary of State American scholar Dr. Henry Kissinger passed at 100 years of age. Kissinger helped create the World after World War II and never minced words. His career is exceptional. The Nobel Peace Prize Laureate kept his Accent & inspired many migrants including reviewer Alexander von Roon.

John Brew's Book "Realpolitik" refers to a quote Kissinger's of Generalfeldmarshall генерал-фельдмаршал Albrecht von Roon, who wrote:

“No one eats with impunity from the tree of immortality.”

Kissinger offered interesting and controversial views over the years & kept his brilliant mind. Political and religious leaders asked for his advice. Here is a piece by the "New Yorker" ("The Myth of Henry Kissinger") including the relationship with Hans J. Morgenthau and former secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

As the world turns, we now mourn for Shane MacGowan of the Pogues as well.

This Irish lad kept it real and gave it all. Any gig you met him, he was a true Mensch, offering his all. You can feel it in the Music. Anytime I recommended the Pogues, people were digging it forever.

You would have a couple of drinks with Shane and the band & then he went on stage. Please raise a toast to

Shane MacGowan

                        Fairytale in New York.
